I don't know about you, but when I set out to lose weight I don't plan on gaining it back. So why start something that insinuates that it is going to be temporary? We all know that we plan to lose weight and keep it off, which is why it is a must to do something that can last a lifetime.
The key to losing weight and keeping it off is to make lifestyle adjustments that can last a lifetime.
Get ACTIVE...if you have never been active before, and then start trying some new things…maybe a yoga class or a nice hiking trial. You could also start a challenge group with some of your friends, set a meeting time to come together for a group activity. This will also serve as an amazing support group. Whatever you do make sure you are having fun doing it!
Enjoy you FOOD...get creative with your food and recipes, remember small adjustments make a huge difference. Here are a few suggestions:
-Coconut oil to replace butter
-Tea or sparkling water for soda
-Cashew or coconut milk instead of cow’s milk
Try new recipes and see if you can find ways to make them healthier.
Most importantly...ENJOY YOURSELF!
